Why ICDB was born?

I wanted to generate another income source, so I started learning about stocks. I signed up for a course that cost me ₹7,000. But that wasn't enough. They kept selling me more courses, one after the other. I spent a lot of money, but I didn't learn much. The basic things were already on YouTube. I realized that many people were selling courses just to make money, not to help others.

The more I delved into the world of online courses, the more I realized that I had been duped. The fundamental knowledge, the building blocks of successful trading, was freely available on YouTube. I felt like a fool, my hard-earned money wasted on overpriced courses that offered little value.

I felt even worse when I heard about what happened to people who took courses from famous people and institutions. They promised huge income increase, but many people lost money instead. It was like a wake-up call for me.

I noticed a pattern: people were only showing the good things, not the bad. They would talk about how amazing their courses were and how much money you could make. But the truth was different. The teachers were more interested in selling course than teaching real skills.

The Byju's saga served as a stark reminder of the exploitation that can occur in the online education industry. Students, burdened by exorbitant fees, were left feeling cheated and powerless.

Seeing how many people were being tricked, I wanted to build a platform where people could share their honest experiences. It would be a safe space where people could say what they really thought, without worrying about getting in trouble. We could expose the bad teachers and celebrate the good ones.

By being honest and open, I hope to help people make smart choices and avoid being fooled by false promises and misleading ads.

I want to create a space where people can share their honest experiences with online courses. This platform will allow learners to avoid the pitfalls I encountered and make informed decisions about their educational investments. By empowering individuals to share their experiences, we can collectively combat the rampant misinformation and misleading marketing that plague the online education industry.
